About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver high-quality modern data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analyst, data scientist, and product teams
Design, integrate, and implement on-premise data solutions
Support migration of existing workloads to the cloud
Process payer files into the Data Warehouse
Program and modify SQL, Python, and PySpark code supporting cloud-based and on-premises data warehousing services
Troubleshoot data issues and apply performance improvement techniques
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices
Take ownership of work within a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based support environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems
3+ years of experience in cloud data engineering platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, or Snowflake
3+ years of experience in on-premise data engineering platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata
Programming and code modification experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark
Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
Hands-on experience troubleshooting data issues
Hands-on experience with performance improvement techniques
Willingness to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
Ability to take ownership in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based support environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering
Familiarity with healthcare data and healthcare insurance feeds is a plus
