About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage promotional strategy, marketing, and communications development for a large national Plan Sponsor
- Develop annual promotional strategies aligned with client populations, needs, desires, and overall communications strategies
- Identify client communication channels and integrate them into promotional plans
- Coordinate with Plan Sponsor resource groups and Wellness Champions to support cohesive content releases
- Partner with vendor contacts and medical leads to develop communications around programs, services, and mental well-being
- Write and develop client-specific content on clinical and mental health topics
- Produce vendor ecards, flyers, monthly promotions, service blurbs, and website copy
- Create tailored monthly communications, awareness toolkits, manager/HR newsletters, and ad hoc manager support materials
- Develop promotional materials, event communications, internal channel content, service tiles, resource guides, flyers, targeted promotions, and benefit fair materials
- Develop monthly toolkits, ecards, hard copy flyers, and website materials
- Review and propose annual updates to calendars, toolkits, templates, messaging cards, promotional materials, giveaways, service sheets, and brochures
- Present content and materials to the client in working sessions and ongoing internal and external calls
- Develop custom content for urgent and crisis-related needs with same-day or 1–2-day turnaround
- Facilitate translations and develop custom local resources with operations teams
- Attend onsite client meetings, events, communications-focused meetings, and applicable health fairs as requested
- Produce monthly utilization reporting covering campaigns, website utilization, QR codes, and UTM tracking
- Collaborate with the engagement team to ideate content that meets Plan Sponsor needs
- Meet urgent deadlines for immediate requests outside normal turnaround times
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of marketing experience
- 3–5 years of strategic planning and execution experience
- Strong writing experience
- Organizational experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong promotions and planning experience
- Clinical license preferred, such as LCP, LCSW, CMHC, or MHC
- Aetna/CVS brand training in design and copywriting preferred
- Marketing-focused certification, degree, or equivalent experience preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Hiring preference for candidates residing in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones
