About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain pricing assumptions, factors, and methodologies used in NA/PEX fully insured pricing.
- Support the maintenance, enhancement, and development of actuarial pricing tools and models.
- Perform pricing analyses and ad hoc studies to evaluate experience, identify trends, and recommend pricing improvements.
- Analyze and monitor emerging experience and communicate results to key stakeholders.
- Partner with Underwriting to support pricing strategies for new and renewing business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounts, Underwriting, and other business areas to develop and validate pricing assumptions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
- 1–2 years of actuarial or related analytical experience
- Progress toward ASA designation with 2–5 actuarial exams completed
- Experience working with healthcare, insurance, or other large, complex datasets
- Prior healthcare industry experience
