About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • responsible for daily activities and implementation of strategies for dental provider recruitment and contracting of dentists, dental group practices and facilities
  • project lead for ground campaigns in targeted territories
  • leads planning, implementation and tracking of regional/territory-based ground campaigns for targeted recruiting
  • develops and implements best practices and tactics for successful provider negotiations
  • recruits dental providers to gain access and/or improve in network utilization/Net Effective Discount for key clients and overall, BOB
  • supports/assists network management on critical projects
  • leads and/or creates and implements projects to improve provider experience
  • presents network strategies, plans, staffing model and similar material for sales presentations
  • develops and implements training programs and educational materials for providers and internal recruitment/network staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years health or dental insurance experience or 3+ years provider contracting or sales/account management experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Dental provider and group contracting, healthcare products such as PPO, Medicare, and DHMO, and claims/processing systems
  • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office products, including Teams & Excel and Salesforce
  • Strong verbal, visual and written communication skills to interact with all levels of corporate personnel and providers
  • Team lead or project management experience to lead or participate in projects or initiatives
