Responsible for screening orders, specializing in research, review and entry of prescription overrides
Ensure patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner
Direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides
Minimum of 1 year related pharmacy technician experience
Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Data Entry experience
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs
