About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate leads that contribute to pipeline development, specifically aligned to respective budgets, as measured by key performance indicators (KPI’s) within market team structure; accomplished by completing in-person cold visits and leveraging other communications media
  • Leverage the Omnicare Value Proposition and execute initial Needs and Discovery Meetings with prospects, in order to further qualify self-sourced and referred leads
  • Ensure quality pipeline expansion by providing appropriate sales materials and strategy, in an effort to support positive client interface during needs and discovery through closing
  • Contribute to market team objectives by exceeding required activity and sales results, actively participating in market team pipeline reviews
  • Record prospect information and maintain database (SFDC) by obtaining, entering, and verifying required data
  • Performing other duties as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, particularly selling a service
  • Working knowledge of computers, specifically Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Willingness to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm Pacific Standard Time, with the occasional ability to work evenings & weekends
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time in the United States, primarily in the West Coast region
