Key responsibilities & impact

responsible for the analysis, design, development, and deployment of critical integrated system releases
ensure delivery of business value and stability of production applications
work in an Agile scrum team environment
collaborate with business partners, product owners, architecture and other IT partners
responsible for code deliverables on both long and short-term projects
create and maintain documentation related to mainframe applications
monitor systems to ensure proper functioning
analyze and optimize applications; troubleshoot and resolve issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience with mainframe development and support
technologies: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, MQ, Xpeditor, Endevor or similar source control application
systems analysis
software design principles and software architecture
agile delivery methodologies
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
strong written and verbal communication skills
ability to manage changing priorities
ability to multitask effectively
ability to work in a team environment
being a self-starter
5+ years of experience with large-scale offshore vendor support arrangements
5+ years of healthcare experience in Claim Adjudication, Claim Payment/Banking, Electronic Funds Transfer
