About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide timely, practical and actionable legal advice to internal business partners and leadership.
Draft commercial prescription benefit management (PBM) contracts for CVS Health’s health plan and employer clients/payors.
Advise internal partners on PBM program terms and an array of matters.
Work in conjunction with other team members and business partners to interpret and administer PBM services agreements.
Provide legal and regulatory compliance interpretation, and general corporate legal advice.
Identify business and legal risks and recommend solutions that balance those risks with business objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in transactional and/or complex contracting with a healthcare company or law firm.
2+ years of healthcare law experience with a basic knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, the False Claims Act, and the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute.
Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
Ability to travel up to 5%.
