About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide care management services and evidence-based short-term psychotherapy to patients
Collaborate with primary care teams to identify appropriate patients for referral
Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance use disorders
Develop care plans and facilitate referrals to appropriate resources
Provide short-term counseling and evidence-based treatments as needed
Coordinate care with psychiatric consultants
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s Degree in the field of mental health counseling/healing arts required from an accredited school
Highest clinical level of license (or local equivalent)
Experience with screening for common mental health and/or substance use disorders
Experience with assessment and treatment planning for common mental health and/or substance use disorders
Familiarity with brief, structured intervention techniques (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation, Problem Solving, Cognitive Behavioral, etc.)
US work authorization
