About the role
- Subject Matter Expert in HEDIS improvement work
- Supports abstraction teams during Supplemental and Hybrid Seasons
- Develops, documents, and trains colleagues on abstraction processes
- Assists manager with tracking and reporting of key metrics
- Conducts claims research to identify and close HEDIS gaps in care
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years medical record abstraction
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Electronic Medical Records systems
- Ability to use standard corporate software packages and corporate applications (Microsoft Office Applications and QuickBase)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
