Key responsibilities & impact

Contributes to the dental Medicare product portfolio, conducting market analysis and driving new product development
Provides expertise and thought leadership, contributing to strategic planning, market research, and cross-functional collaboration
Drives innovation, evaluates performance, and ensures regulatory compliance, playing a pivotal role in guiding the organization's growth and success
Ensures accurate administration and management of all dental plans
Defines requirements and multi-year roadmaps across multiple products/offerings
Leads an annual competitive analysis to benchmark competitor plan designs
Creates annual competitive insights slide deck and presents findings to senior leadership
Analyzes and monitors legislative, industry and competitive developments throughout the year
Translates competitive and market insights into product portfolio recommendations
Collaborates with Actuarial to share plan options and assumptions
Develops clear recommendation materials and presents proposals to Medicare leadership
Performs data analysis using claims, membership, and other operational datasets
Defines reporting requirements, key metrics/KPIs, and recurring dashboards to monitor product performance
Synthesizes large and complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations
Partners with the Group team to understand market needs
Supports the Bid Cycle to finalize approved product/plan offerings
Serves as a subject matter expert within product management and development
Prepares and delivers presentations and written updates
Provides guidance to develop policies and procedures
Monitors plan administration to ensure compliance with internal standards
Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years’ work experience in product, strategy, or related field
Healthcare industry, preferably managed care
Strong executive-level presentation skills
Strong data analysis skills
Detail oriented
Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
Adept at collaboration and teamwork
Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
Adept at business intelligence
Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
