About the role
- Contributes to the dental Medicare product portfolio, conducting market analysis and driving new product development
- Provides expertise and thought leadership, contributing to strategic planning, market research, and cross-functional collaboration
- Drives innovation, evaluates performance, and ensures regulatory compliance, playing a pivotal role in guiding the organization's growth and success
- Ensures accurate administration and management of all dental plans
- Defines requirements and multi-year roadmaps across multiple products/offerings
- Leads an annual competitive analysis to benchmark competitor plan designs
- Creates annual competitive insights slide deck and presents findings to senior leadership
- Analyzes and monitors legislative, industry and competitive developments throughout the year
- Translates competitive and market insights into product portfolio recommendations
- Collaborates with Actuarial to share plan options and assumptions
- Develops clear recommendation materials and presents proposals to Medicare leadership
- Performs data analysis using claims, membership, and other operational datasets
- Defines reporting requirements, key metrics/KPIs, and recurring dashboards to monitor product performance
- Synthesizes large and complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations
- Partners with the Group team to understand market needs
- Supports the Bid Cycle to finalize approved product/plan offerings
- Serves as a subject matter expert within product management and development
- Prepares and delivers presentations and written updates
- Provides guidance to develop policies and procedures
- Monitors plan administration to ensure compliance with internal standards
- Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements
- 7+ years’ work experience in product, strategy, or related field
- Healthcare industry, preferably managed care
- Strong executive-level presentation skills
- Strong data analysis skills
- Detail oriented
- Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Adept at business intelligence
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
