About the role
- Perform a critical role in the analysis of Medicare and Commercial formularies to determine client eligibility for rebates
- Support accurate rebate invoicing by meeting manufacturer contractual obligations
- Conduct specific formulary research to support Rebate forecasting and underwriting teams
- Collaborate on tasks such as assisting during pharmaceutical disputes
- Adhere to quality control processes in review of formulary rebate eligibility
- Review contract language necessary to support formulary rebate contracts
- Maintain filings for Caremark and client specific formulary publications
- Exhibit strong analytical skills and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to support the department
Requirements
- 1+ year of professional experience or internships
- Experience in a formulary, health care, contracting, or similar role
- Microsoft Office experience, with an emphasis on Excel including V-lookup, functions, pivot tables etc.
- Caremark Formulary and/or Rebate knowledge beneficial.
- Experience with Caremark business systems, claims adjudication, formulary, drug, and client systems with an emphasis on the RxClaim adjudication platform beneficial.
- Medicare knowledge beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and with people across functional area.
- Ability to work in a hybrid team environment.
- Strong reading comprehension skills.
- Capability to communicate details clearly and accurately.
