Design, build, and maintain scalable web-based platforms, internal tools, and developer-facing applications that improve engineering productivity and experience
Develop and support secure, high-performance backend services and APIs, integrating with distributed systems, data pipelines, databases, and event-driven architectures
Collaborate with DevEx leadership and Staff Engineers to implement architectural designs and deliver cloud-native, production-grade solutions
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized services, and automation to enable reliable, efficient software delivery
Apply best practices for security, observability, performance, accessibility, and testing across the full stack

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
3+ years of backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python
3+ years of experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js (with at least some experience in React)
3+ years of experience working in UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting
2+ years of experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Git, and GitHub Actions
2+ years of experience with distributed systems and streaming or real-time processing technologies such as Kafka or Spark
2+ years of experience working with data platforms, including:
Relational databases (PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema migrations)
NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, or Neo4j)
Data warehousing platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or Redshift)
2+ years of experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
