About the role
- Establishes strategic and technical support throughout the sales support process to promote revenue, customer, membership, and earnings growth
- Manages day-to-day activities for sales team including proposal preparation and delivery
- Collaborate with Supp Sales leaders to develop sales support strategies, allocate resources and prioritize initiatives
- Advises team on policies and procedures to ensure compliance and achievement of the organization's goals and objectives for Sales Support
- Manages day-to-day activities for staff and develops training programs and materials for development
- Collaborate with data platform administration teams to identify areas of improvement for our sales record keeping needs (i.e: Majesco, Salesforce, Quickbase)
- Join forces with Supplemental Health Sales leaders on strategies and implementation to make our sales process efficient and make headwinds towards our overall growth initiatives
- Evaluates, monitors, and advises senior management on new training materials and techniques that align with organizational objectives
- Conducts performance appraisals to provide employees with timely and constructive feedback
- Manages operational aspects of the team (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), and implements workforce and succession plans to meet business needs
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or a closely related function
- Demonstrated working knowledge of execution and delivery, including planning, delivering, and supporting initiatives
- Working knowledge of business intelligence concepts and the use of data to inform decisions
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated growth mindset, including agility and a focus on developing self and others
- Preferred 1–3 years of experience in a lead or people leadership capacity (for example, coaching, mentoring, or supervising staff)
- Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
