Collaborate with market actuaries and business partners to optimize persistency and gross profit for the assigned region
Work closely with Sales, Finance, Underwriting, Network, and Product to develop best estimate and strategic rate actions
Partner with Rate Review and Forecasting teams for strategic planning
Participate in centralized rate filing and implementation efforts
Perform actuarial functions leveraging advanced quantitative and analytical skills
Serve as Subject Matter Expert in various data warehouses
Support national Competitive Intelligence initiatives by maintaining rate intelligence dashboards

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in an actuarial or analytical role
Minimum 2 actuarial exams passed
Demonstrated understanding of complex actuarial functions and market-specific dynamics
Ability to take full ownership of assignments and work independently with limited guidance
Strong technical, analytical, and time management skills, along with keen attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with large, detailed data sets, including proficiency in advanced Excel, SQL, and VBA
