About the role
- Translate complex concepts and processes into compelling, easy-to-follow design with exceptional content.
- Conduct UX research and champion data science to understand user behaviors and uncover new opportunities to reach customers with appropriate content and reduce friction.
- Create content and design ecosystems for multiple channels, devices and touch points across user journey flows, meeting user needs and adhering to enterprise standards.
- Challenge the status quo and know when to advocate for new design patterns versus relying on old systems.
- Drive collaboration with designers, product managers, and diverse business stakeholders to inform requirements to think beyond the product lifecycle and optimize content and user journey.
- Lead other content strategists/designers in developing user stories and providing guidance on priorities.
- Facilitate workshops and design crits and own content reviews and iterations across stakeholders from product to legal.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in UX writing, UX Design or Content Design
- 2+ years experience with Agile and lean UX/software development practices, including using product management software (Rally, Jira)
- 2+ years experience in web and app experiences
- 2+ years experience collaborating with internal team members, such as experience designers, accessibility experts and product managers
- 2+ years experience in UX wire framing, UX flows, and shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects with prototyping software such as Figma and Miro
- Experience in health care, pharmacy or other regulated fields (insurance, finance, etc.)
- Experience with translation and transcreation best practices
- Deep knowledge of enterprise content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, or similar
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor or master's degree preferred in the field of Human Computer Interaction, Information Architecture, Technical Writing, English, or Journalism.
- Extensive work experience, academic work or certifications in user experience fields are also welcome.
- Extensive experience with design software (Figma, Airtable, InVision, Miro)
- Experience collaborating across disciplines (design, design ops, research and usability, accessibility, product managers and engineering)
- Experience in working with and improving business requirements
- Comfortable with UX and Usability terminology, taxonomies and practices, including Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design methods, to solve problems and innovate
- Knows how and when to use inventories and audits, content frameworks, competitive analysis and mapping
- Knows when to collaborate and compromise and when to be the voice for the user and stand up for what’s right.
