About the role

  • Responsible for screening orders, specializing in research, review and entry of prescription overrides.
  • Ensure patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner.
  • Direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification.
  • Meet specified production and quality standards as defined by the management team.
  • May be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides.
  • Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
  • Candidate must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas.
  • Minimum of 6 months related pharmacy technician experience.
  • Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A secure and private room free from noise and distractions.
  • Must have your own internet provider that can support the virtual working environment.
  • Data Entry Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
