About the role

  • Support annual capital planning efforts for teams across Aetna Technology
  • Perform detailed analysis of capital investments to ensure they align with strategic and financial goals
  • Develop and evaluate business cases for projects using data & metrics
  • Lead the development and maintenance of capital planning processes and policies
  • Collaborate closely with leaders in other departments (i.e., operations, project management, business) to align capital allocation with business objectives
  • Communicate complex financial information and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels, including senior leadership

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in a finance and/or procurement role (e.g., financial analyst, procurement lead)
  • 5+ years of budget planning and management, including capital planning
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross functional projects
  • Able to drive timelines and workflows
  • 3+ years working with product & development teams
  • Master’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience forecasting and setting project allocations in Clarity (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
