About the role
- Develop an understanding of financial and operational data and processes across several areas of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Finance.
- Deliver critical data and insights to various teams.
- Translate complex business needs into actionable insights and project requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business needs.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Create detailed documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, process/data flows, and user stories.
- Partner with IT, BI development, and Automation/ Analytics team members to define requirements and ensure a seamless integration of processes with business workflows.
- Coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce desired results.
- Develop the Business Requirement Document including scope and objectives, and a detailed project plan.
- Lead stakeholders and internal resources through project milestones until successful product delivery.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
- Must be experienced in communicating ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- 1+ years of project management experience, successfully managing projects that impact multiple teams, departments and/or functions.
- 1+ years of experience documenting complex business process flows for optimization.
- Experience in healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM or pharmacy services.
- Prior experience working in agile environment and with Agile Project Management tools (Atlassian/Jira/Confluence or like).
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new business processes and experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Thinking and Six Sigma.
- Experience with project management tools such as QuickBase, Smartsheet, Jira.
- Ability to work efficiently under potentially ambiguous circumstances.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
