About the role
- Serve as the main point of contact for senior leaders working closely with the Benefits team to ensure a seamless and high-quality Aetna experience
- Serve as a primary point of contact for member service inquiries
- Liaising with healthcare providers
- Submitting and tracking out-of-network claims
- Managing administrative processes such as pre-authorizations and pre-certifications
- Assisting members in locating providers and scheduling appointments
- Function as a subject matter expert on the employer’s Aetna medical plan
- Track, analyze, and create reports on service utilization, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with account team members and cross-functional partners to resolve complex product or service issues
- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to maintain a high level of service quality and knowledge
Requirements
- 3-5 years of client management experience within the healthcare industry
- Demonstrated experience as a polished, concise, and professional communicator
- Multi-functional experience, e.g., claim systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
