About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
Use Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress for functional, end-to-end, and regression testing
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Development, Infrastructure, and Operations teams
Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
Conduct cross-browser and responsive UI testing across platforms and devices
Improve test coverage, stability, and execution efficiency
Ensure testing complies with HIPAA, Medicare, and other applicable healthcare regulations
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with clear quality gates
Ensure test traceability, coverage visibility, and alignment with release processes
Use agentic AI tools to accelerate test authoring, self-healing test maintenance, and defect analysis
Contribute to the technical direction and innovation of CVS Health digital engineering projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of software testing experience
2+ years of relevant automation testing experience
2+ years of hands-on development with JavaScript-based automation frameworks, including Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Jasmine, or Protractor
2+ years of experience with API automation and REST API testing using Postman and RestAssured
Experience creating and maintaining test scripts and custom-designed testing tools and frameworks
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Experience with BDD/Cucumber for QA delivery
Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
High school diploma plus 4 years of relevant work experience as an alternative to a bachelor's degree
Experience in Pharmacy, Clinical Systems, or other healthcare domains preferred
Experience working within an Engineering Center of Excellence preferred
Working knowledge of the healthcare domain is a plus
Familiarity with prompt engineering or AI-assisted test automation pipelines
Strong problem-solving and strategic critical-thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
