About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate the potential financial impact of plan design changes using existing models or by working with internal partners
Support development of new tools and user acceptance testing
Access and analyze data using Excel, SQL and SAS
Use financial change order models to analyze projected rebate guarantee impacts
Coordinate Sales, Analytic Consulting Services, Clinical Operations, Underwriting and other teams to ensure proper controls
Review changes to client benefit designs, formularies and product implementations
Provide consultative analysis support to sales, underwriting and underwriting analytics teams
Perform client-specific analyses, discussions, ad hoc reporting and analysis
Interact directly with external stakeholders and clients
Clearly and concisely communicate analysis results while meeting requested deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement, or equivalent combination of professional experience and education
OR 1 year professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement, including 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis
Experience in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and critical thinking skill sets
Ability to articulate analysis findings clearly and concisely
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
Prior experience working across many different groups within an organization
Prior experience designing, implementing and optimizing new business processes
Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Prior experience or knowledge of the PBM industry or pharmaceuticals preferred
Bachelor's Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics or other data-related fields preferred
