About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the analytical and technical execution of the Member Onboarding and Customer Experience improvement portfolios
Design, build, and measure onboarding and customer experience solutions
Partner closely with the Squad Lead and cross-functional stakeholders
Apply advanced analytics, experimentation, causal inference, and AI/ML, including LLMs
Improve member engagement, satisfaction, digital adoption, service utilization, and retention
Reduce customer experience friction and strengthen ongoing member relationships
Provide technical leadership and mentor other data scientists
Surface solution options and trade-offs while ensuring analytical rigor

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in advanced analytics, decision science, or applied AI/ML
3+ years of experience in predictive analytics, reinforcement learning, NLP, LLM, or causal inference
3+ years of programming experience in Python and SQL
Experience managing large and complex analytical projects, including data exploration, model building, performance evaluation, and testing
Proven record applying analytical rigor and statistical methods to large amounts of data
Familiarity with Tableau and analytics engineering using GCP or other modern data platforms
3+ years of experience designing and deploying data science solutions in member or customer experience environments
3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
Hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI, or conversational AI frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or RAG
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity and evaluate solution options and trade-offs
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment
Master's degree preferred
