About the role
- Act as a senior member of the Group Legal function, providing high‑quality, commercially driven legal support to the General Counsel and the wider group of companies.
- Manage a varied workload covering contracts, regulatory compliance, disputes, corporate governance, risk management, and strategic projects.
- Help safeguard the organisation’s legal interests while enabling growth, operational efficiency, and commercial innovation across a complex and fast‑moving environment.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with strong academic background.
- 6–10+ years PQE gained in a reputable law firm and/or in-house environment, preferably in logistics, transport, supply chain, retail, manufacturing, infrastructure, or similarly complex industries.
- Strong commercial contracts expertise with working knowledge across:
- UK logistics/transport regulatory frameworks
- Health & Safety / compliance processes
- Data protection & information governance
- Dispute resolution and litigation management
