About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You support the technical assessment of feasibility for battery storage projects (BESS)
- You plan and develop battery energy storage systems from concept through execution and accompany commissioning and acceptance
- You assist with permitting procedures and accompany grid connection processes
- You support implementation and quality assurance during the project phase, analyze existing systems and optimize processes
- You act as an interface to grid operators, authorities and other internal stakeholders
- You help prepare measurement concepts for different operating models
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enrolled student (m/f/d) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related field
- Initial experience in planning and implementing energy projects, ideally in battery storage (BESS) is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of grid connection planning and relevant standards (experience with VDE AR‑N 4110) is desirable
- Familiarity with measurement concepts and energy market/economic contexts, as well as planning and calculation tools
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
- Very good German language skills
