About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You will be responsible for the system architecture and continuous development of our Charging Operations systems, focusing on CPMS and the charging backend.
You ensure the stable operation of our systems: you monitor and analyze anomalies, perform troubleshooting, develop sustainable solutions, and ensure thorough documentation.
You design the interfaces and data flows between CPMS, OCPP/OCPI, roaming, EMP and CPO partners, payment and billing systems, and internal systems such as our ERP.
You identify optimization opportunities and improve the quality and performance of our operations by implementing efficient processes and automations.
You establish and maintain operations standards, document operational processes, and drive the development of sustainable knowledge management.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience and strong knowledge of platform operations and system architecture, ideally in charging infrastructure, IoT, or energy
You have solid command of charging backends (CPMS) and standards such as OCPP/OCPI.
Additional knowledge of roaming, payments, or billing complements your profile.
Your strengths include accurately capturing, structuring, and implementing requirements in collaboration with internal and external partners.
You demonstrate a structured, independent working style and clear communication.
Excellent German and good English skills.
