About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide excellent technical support and customer service as part of Level 2 support
  • Coordinate with support and development teams to resolve application and system issues
  • Design and maintain expertise in application processes and company-related systems
  • Administer and resolve application issues, provide updates, and perform root cause analysis
  • Monitor application and system alerts and provide proactive services
  • Maintain professional relationships with engineering and customer support counterparts
  • Organize and implement small- to medium-sized projects under the guidance of Software Engineers
  • Assist with processes under Software Engineer guidance
  • Perform root-cause assessment and debug server-domain issues and application availability problems
  • Coordinate with the test department on releases and deployments across environments and production
  • Document issues and solutions
  • Manage production systems and recommend performance optimizations and problem solutions
  • Prepare reports on problems
  • Identify and resolve issues ranging from medium to high complexity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of Microsoft IIS
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database technologies
  • Working knowledge of IT hardware and software
  • Ability to learn and master employer-specific software
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused with excellent written, verbal communication, and reporting skills
  • Demonstrable ability to learn technical information, processes, and applications quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively within a fast-growing organization
  • Demonstrated flexibility and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Experience using Postman to create and save simple and complex HTTP/S requests
  • Degree-level qualification in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of programming concepts, preferably C#
  • Experience building effective relationships with development teams and clients
  • New hires must work onsite five days a week during the six-month probation period
