About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will take responsibility for establishing and further developing partnerships with key national and international retailers and online marketplaces.
  • Ensure maximum product visibility and first-class operational execution.
  • Together with teams from Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain and external partners, actively contribute to driving Kess’s commercial growth and further expanding our brand presence online and offline.
  • Build and manage strategic key-account partnerships with leading beauty retailers and marketplaces.
  • Develop long-term relationships and take ownership of account performance, commercial strategies and their implementation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial and operational matters.
  • Negotiate terms and manage launch plans, promotions and other growth initiatives.
  • Work closely with in-store teams to optimize product availability, brand presentation and the customer experience — both in-store and online.
  • Own forecasts and sell-through planning to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient processes.
  • Analyze KPIs, competitor activity and customer behavior to improve sales performance.
  • Prepare regular performance analyses, reports and strategic recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in key account management within the beauty industry or in trade marketing.
  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics, promotion planning and commercial KPIs.
  • Experience in negotiations, assortment planning and retail growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong project management abilities and a collaborative, solution-oriented working style.
  • Proactive, hands-on mentality with a high degree of personal responsibility.
  • Keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of branding and customer experience.
  • Analytical mindset and confident use of sales and performance data.
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
