About the role

  • Develop high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot & Spring Cloud
  • Optimize and re-architect data-driven processes for our print and digital ticketing solutions
  • Integrate external REST interfaces and design system integrations
  • Ensure stability and observability with logging, metrics, traces and profiling (Grafana stack)
  • Operate the software on a cloud platform (AWS)
  • Work in an agile team following the principle “You build it, you run it”

Requirements

  • Several years of experience developing with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes & cloud (AWS)
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, ideally complemented by NoSQL
  • Experience integrating and consuming REST interfaces (OpenAPI specification, Postman)
  • Experience with logging, metrics, traces and profiling (Grafana stack)
  • Structured, team-oriented working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
  • Nice to have: experience with Angular, TypeScript and CI/CD workflows
  • Interest in cloud technologies (AWS) and DevOps practices
