About the role
- Assess flowering maps in orchards
- Analyze thinning carried out based on these maps
- Characterize decision support tools (DSTs) for thinning in apple and pear trees
- Study different thinning strategies for apple and pear trees
- Deepen knowledge of current and emerging thinning practices
- Prepare a summary of the latest literature on the subject
- Prepare and select plant material for trials
- Identify the different flowering stages to better determine application timing for tools and treatments
- Carry out field observations (flowering rate, fruit set, etc.)
- Analyze results using statistical tools (Expé-R, RStudio)
- Interpret the results obtained and write reports
- Participate in the technical team's evaluations

- Student in an engineering school or final-year Master's student
