About the role

  • Collect interprofessional needs expressed by industry stakeholders and their representative bodies regarding cabbages
  • Establish the state of the art
  • Organize national working groups on cabbages with research, trialing, and development partners
  • Propose actions for CTIFL regarding cabbage, particularly within cross-cutting programs
  • Identify needs under the orphan uses framework
  • Prepare dossiers for marketing authorization (AMM) applications
  • Gather needs from the partner regional station managers on the relevant themes
  • Develop joint technical action projects for the station
  • Implement and monitor selected actions
  • Participate in regional and national bodies involved in organic agriculture (INTERFEL, INAO, ITAB…)
  • Establish partnerships with other technical institutes for agriculture (ITAs) and actors in organic vegetable production in France and abroad
  • Build and disseminate technical and economic benchmarks
  • Disseminate results (technical publications, conferences…)

Requirements

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in agronomy or organic agriculture
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in pests and pathogens affecting vegetable crops
  • Knowledge of organic fertilization
  • Proficiency with domain-specific IT and statistical tools
  • Comfortable managing and coordinating multi-partner projects and experimental trials
  • Strong writing, listening, and synthesis skills
  • Fluency in English
