About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a technical Cloud Computing specialist (AWS and Azure) within the organization
  • Define and evolve the architecture of cloud environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security
  • Support systems teams and projects in designing architectures suitable for cloud deployment
  • Serve as the technical focal point between internal teams and vendors responsible for cloud operations and support
  • Ensure adherence to cloud architecture best practices, governance, and security
  • Assess and guide the appropriate use of cloud services (compute, storage, networking, database, serverless)
  • Support modernization initiatives and migration of workloads to the cloud
  • Participate in defining architecture standards and reference frameworks for cloud
  • Work on cost optimization and operational efficiency of cloud environments
  • Assist in managing critical incidents and in the ongoing evolution of the cloud platform

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related fields
  • Solid experience with Cloud Computing (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Experience designing cloud solution architectures
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments
  • Knowledge of cloud network architecture (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, load balancing)
  • Experience with managed cloud storage and database services
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (ECS, EKS, AKS or Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Auto Scaling, load balancers, CDN and distributed services
  • Knowledge of serverless architecture
  • Experience with cloud security (WAF, IAM, access policies)
  • Experience with cloud cost management and governance (FinOps)
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Preferred cloud certifications, such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Experience with observability and monitoring (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack)
  • Experience with web servers and services (IIS, Apache, NGINX)
  • Experience with licensing governance and compliance (SAM)
