About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (SQL / Python) for financial risk and regulatory reporting
Automate and improve processes for capital adequacy, liquidity metrics (LCR/NSFR), leverage ratio, and large exposures
Ensure data quality, consistency, traceability, and robustness across risk systems
Collaborate on risk analytics, ad-hoc analyses, and projects related to existing and new products
Identify opportunities to streamline manual controls and reporting workflows
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our risk data architecture and tooling landscape

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Data Science, or a related field
2–5 years of relevant experience in risk, data analytics, fintech, banking, or data infrastructure
Strong hands-on programming skills in SQL and Python
Experience with data pipelines, modelling, or data infrastructure
Solid understanding of financial products (e.g., futures, options, swaps) and/or risk concepts
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a small, high-impact team
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks is a plus
Crypto / digital assets exposure is a plus
Fluent in English; German is a plus
Self-driven, hands-on, and execution-oriented personality
