About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead projects in the areas of energy tax credits and R&D tax credits
- Manage R&D projects with a focus on growing R&D tax credit engagements for Energy companies
- Manage Energy Tax Credit projects, including PWA engagements for energy projects
- Drive business development and sales growth
- Exhibit proven leadership and project management skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, or related degree required
- Master of Science in Tax (MST) is a plus
- At least 7+ years experience in public accounting; strong preference for Big 4 or large regional firm experience
- Experience in the subject matter areas described above preferred
- CPA, EA, or PE credential required
- Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong data management skills, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx
