Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred
  • CPA, JD, CMI, or other relevant professional certifications strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of real estate property tax, property tax consulting, or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of real estate valuation methodologies, tax bills, assessment notices, protest hearings, and multi-state property tax processes
  • Experience working with local taxing authorities and jurisdiction-specific appeal requirements
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, research, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience using tax technology, PTMS, or other workflow/reporting tools
