About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage Sales & Use Tax consulting engagements
Serve as a key point of contact for clients
Support identification of new opportunities within existing client relationships
Provide guidance on Sales & Use Tax risk, exposure, and process improvements
Manage engagement timelines, scope, and deliverables
Review workpapers, research, and client deliverables for accuracy and completeness
Mentor and develop seniors and staff
Collaborate with other SALT and firm service lines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
CPA, CMI, JD, or LLM required
5 years of public accounting experience, with a strong focus on Sales & Use Tax consulting
Demonstrated experience leading Sales & Use Tax engagements and interacting directly with clients
Strong technical research and writing skills
Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy consulting environment
Willingness to work additional hours during peak periods as needed
