  • Coordinate and facilitate pre-employment background checks for India-based hires
  • Liaise with external background check vendors for investigations
  • Review and adjudicate background check results

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of relevant HR compliance, background investigations, or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance frameworks
  • Sound understanding of Shops & Establishments Acts, Aadhar regulations, FCRA, Fair Chance Acts, DPDP, GDPR
  • Experience with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and background screening tools
