About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design a complete automation test strategy working closely with the Test Managers and Architects
Responsible for the overall automation strategy, tools and technologies selection for product test automation
Proactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the team; generate and propose solutions
Provide technical leadership and support in designing and implementing CI/CD
Create quality gates in the overall CI/CD strategy
Design and execute a test automation strategy that ensures stability and optimization of resources
Guide the QA Engineers in standardizing QA practices and tools
Create automation framework and best practices for all QA practices
Evaluate new tools and implement them as they fit into the strategy
Oversees the maintainability of the framework, code refactoring, and performance of test runs
Run parallel tests to reduce runtime
Analyze and verify best automated and manual test approaches
Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria
Analyze performance test requirements and develop test plans and debug to understand test objective requirements
Execute performance testing and present results to Project Teams
Proactively identify additional test automation opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrable experience and skills in programming languages (Python)
Demonstrable experience and skills in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Python, Playwright, Selenium, etc.
Demonstrable experience and skills in designing and implementing performance testing frameworks (e.g. JMeter)
Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to deliver the work accurately and with high attention to detail
Understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment
Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment
Professional conduct in line with corporate behaviors, i.e., result-driven, readiness to change, customer focus, integrity, and team-player approach
Air traffic domain experience would be considered an advantage
Understanding of AIXM 4.5 and AIXM 5.1 data models and experience in Air Traffic Management system testing will be considered a unique asset
University studies of 4 years (Master’s degree) in a relevant domain (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)
