About the role
- Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal 9/10/11 websites and modules
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to implement responsive and accessible user interfaces
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of web applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
- Work with Git and CI/CD workflows and integrate third-party APIs
- Stay up to date with Drupal best practices and emerging technologies
- Work for a European Institution based in Brussels while being 100% remote from Portugal
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field
- 2 profiles: one junior and one senior with 5 years of experience
- Strong experience with Drupal 9/10/11 development
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience with custom module and theme development
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Understanding of accessibility, SEO, and performance optimization
- Experience working in an agile team (knowledge of agile ceremonies) is a plus
- Experience with Atlassian suite products (Jira / Confluence) is a plus
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English is required
