About the role

  • Own the CLOB and Matching Engine
  • Design and implement high-performance Central Limit Order Book
  • Architect the matching engine for correctness and low latency
  • Build resilience against adversarial patterns
  • Contribute to the hybrid CLOB + RFQ routing layer
  • Implement the perpetuals engine
  • Design and implement funding rate clamping logic
  • Own the liquidation system
  • Own the real-time risk calculation layer
  • Define and maintain correctness guarantees through automated testing
  • Drive Technical Excellence by providing architecture reviews

Requirements

  • 8+ years in software engineering
  • Production CLOB experience
  • Perpetuals and derivatives depth
  • Risk system ownership
  • Low-latency systems expertise
  • Proficiency in Rust, Java, or C++
  • Strong understanding of threading models, lock-free data structures
  • Hands-on experience with low-latency messaging infrastructure
  • State replication, consistency models
  • Simulation-based and property-based testing
