About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall technical responsibility for the development and evolution of a scalable Drone-in-a-Box (DiAB) platform
Responsible for the cloud backend, web frontend, and integration layers with drone hardware, edge systems, and external services
Support the entire lifecycle from conception and implementation to stable operation
Design, implement and take ownership of robust, versioned REST APIs
Ensure stability, security, and performance, as well as real-time integration of drone, telemetry, and sensor data
Collaborate with product management, system architecture, hardware/drone teams, and external partners
Act as a technical point of contact, provide technical direction, conduct code reviews, and mentor and provide technical guidance to the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of professional experience as a Lead/Senior Full-Stack Developer
Strong knowledge of TypeScript for both frontend and backend
Solid experience with Nuxt.js and the Vue.js ecosystem
Practical experience with NestJS, dependency injection, and modular architectures
Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases
Ability to write clean and maintainable code
Attention to detail
Nice to have: experience with testing (Jest, Cypress)
Nice to have: experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Nice to have: experience with GraphQL
Nice to have: experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
