About the role

  • Overall technical responsibility for DiaB platforms (Drone-in-a-Box)
  • You take technical ownership of developing and evolving a scalable DiaB platform, including cloud backend, web frontend, and integration layers with drone hardware, edge systems and external services.
  • You accompany the full lifecycle — from concept and implementation to stable operation.
  • You design, implement and maintain robust, versioned REST APIs. The focus is on stability, security, performance, and integrating drone, telemetry and sensor data in real time.
  • You work closely with product management, system architecture, hardware/drone teams and external partners.
  • As a senior engineer you act as the technical point of contact, provide technical direction, perform code reviews and support the team through mentoring and technical guidance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a Lead/Senior Full Stack Developer
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript (both frontend and backend)
  • Solid experience with Nuxt.js and the Vue.js ecosystem
  • Practical experience with NestJS, dependency injection and modular architectures
  • Familiarity with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases
  • You write clean, maintainable code and have an eye for detail
  • Nice-to-have: experience with testing (Jest, Cypress), familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), experience with GraphQL, agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban)
