💰 $120,000 - $165,000 per year
About the role
- Prepare and review individual, partnership, trust, and corporate tax returns
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to small-to-medium-sized businesses and high-end clientele
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of tax preparers and other tax staff
- Manage, train, mentor, and support lower-level tax staff
- Maintain tax prep priorities, deliverables, and deadlines
- Perform workpaper write-ups, obtain and save client documents, journal entries, and bookkeeping as needed
- Work efficiently under pressure, flexible shifts, and meet tight deadlines
- Work independently or as part of a team and adapt to different processes and methods
Requirements
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree required
- Experience with tax preparation and accounting
- Experience in public accounting strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to professionally engage with clients, verbally and in writing
- Proficiency working with MS Office and tax software
- Experience with compiled and reviewed financial statements a plus
- Experience with Click Up, CCH/Engagement, and QuickBooks a big plus
