💰 $120,000 - $140,000 per year
About the role
- Provide tax and consulting services such as preparing federal and state tax returns
- Research relevant tax issues and communicate their impact on clients’ businesses
- Prepare year-end tax projections
- Develop and deliver tax planning strategies
- Learn to develop and deliver tax planning strategies
- Collaborate with US East Coast-based team; align working hours with EST to facilitate effective collaboration
- Manage multiple client engagements, meet deadlines, and work both independently and on a team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
- Solid academic performance and achievement in relevant areas of study
- Solid technical accounting knowledge (preferred)
- Able to problem solve and think analytically (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
- Relevant internship or work experience helpful but not required
- Ability to work EST hours and collaborate with a US East Coast-based team
- Ability and willingness to work in-person 3-4 days/week in our Arlington, VA office (application question)
