About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Quality-culture advocate, promoting knowledge sharing, collaboration, and transparency within the team
Create and review quality documentation (strategy, progressive/regression test plans, and evidence reports)
Strategic perspective on software testing, including test automation
Analyze acceptance criteria and user stories
Write and record/document bugs and test cases
Create and execute manual and automated test scenarios (back-end and mobile)
Report progress, risks, and issues in project delivery
Actively participate in team ceremonies (refinements, planning, etc.)
Collaborate with the development team to identify process improvement opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Test Analyst
Strong experience in testing processes: manual, exploratory, load, regression, functional, and non-functional testing
Experience developing test automation in Java (RestAssured) and Playwright
Experience with performance testing (k6 and/or JMeter)
Experience with test and defect management tools
Experience with relational databases and writing SQL scripts
Experience with code versioning using Git
Agile mindset (Scrum and/or Kanban)
Desired experience with Maestro or Appium (mobile automation)
Cloud computing experience (Azure)
Experience in the financial sector
Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
Experience with GitLab
BDD (behavior-driven development) — building scenarios based on expected user behavior
Software testing certifications (e.g., CTFL, CTAL, or others)
