Key responsibilities & impact

Enthusiastic advocate for a culture of quality and attention to detail
Strategic vision in software testing (including test automation)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Participation in team ceremonies
Prepare and execute tests
Writing and documenting bugs and test cases
Creation and review of software quality documentation such as test strategy, test plan and test evidence reports
Report progress, risks and issues in project delivery
Ability to progressively influence knowledge sharing, collaboration and transparency
Participation in meetings to define deadlines and deliveries
Create and execute manual and automated test scenarios for web applications and APIs
Plan, develop and execute progressive and regression test plans
Define and validate test scenarios for each new release
Work closely with the development team to identify opportunities to improve the process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Systems Analysis, Informatics, Computer Science or another IT-related field
Experience in functional and non-functional testing
3+ years of experience as a Test Analyst
Experience with test and defect management tools
Experience developing test automation scripts
Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban and/or SAFe)
BDD
Experience with relational databases
Experience creating scripts with database languages (SQL, T-SQL and/or PL/pgSQL)
Code control and versioning with Git
