Responsible for the technical product backlog: maintenance, prioritization and continuous refinement, including ensuring a technically sound, clearly prioritized backlog structure
Develop well-founded technical concepts to support product development and implement technical requirements
Translate business requirements into technical user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Evaluate and prioritize technical requirements, taking architecture guidelines, technical debt, security and compliance aspects into account
Ensure technical product quality (performance, scalability, stability, etc.)
Work closely with software developers, IT architects, business product owners and other stakeholders
Support release and sprint planning as well as reviews
Regularly report on technical progress, dependencies and risks, and contribute to make‑or‑buy decisions and technical concepts

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science (or Business Informatics) or a comparable IT-related qualification
Several years of experience in the IT environment, ideally in product- or interface-oriented roles
Experience collaborating with agile development teams (methods: Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Very good understanding of software architectures (e.g. microservices, APIs, interfaces), IT operations and deployment models
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Basic understanding of regulatory requirements in the banking environment
Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a structured, solution-oriented and responsible working approach
Strong communication and moderation skills, especially at the interface between business and technology, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly and understandably
Business-fluent German and very good English, both written and spoken
