About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assign payments to outstanding receivables; review system suggestions; investigate unassigned transactions and allocate them manually
- Professionally and empathetically handle incoming tickets, live chat and inbound phone calls
- Escalate cases that cannot be resolved according to defined procedures
- Proactively report recurring issues — your input will feed directly into the development of our processes
- Document your work carefully
Requirements
What you’ll need- Initial experience in customer service, back-office operations, or a related field — role-specific training will be provided by us
- Enrolled at a German university
- Fluent German (C1+) and English
- High level of accuracy; enjoyment of structured, recurring tasks
- Empathetic and calm communication style
- Comfortable using web-based tools and dashboards
- Self-organized and able to work independently
- Based in Berlin (on-site presence required during onboarding; hybrid thereafter)
- Available for a quick start
