About the role
- Ensure that each release of our application meets high standards of functionality, performance, security, and usability
- Develop and execute test plans and cases for manual and automated testing to ensure ongoing high quality in deployments and features
- Identify, document, and track defects. Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve these issues
- Advocate for product quality within a cross-functional development team
- Optimize the QA process and implement best practices to enhance product quality
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, and debugging of frontend and backend applications (JavaScript)
- Proficiency in manual testing (functional, regression, UAT) as well as automated testing (e.g., cypress)
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Nice to have: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub)
- Familiarity with API testing and rational databases
- JavaScript Proficiency
