About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a technical expert for the Blue Yonder (BY) Cloud WMS
Take ownership of production stability by resolving complex technical issues
Develop, modify, and support the critical microservices integration layer
Write clean, tested code to optimize data transformations, message routing, and API endpoints
Monitor, trace, and troubleshoot high-volume message flows
Utilize observability and log aggregation tools like Grafana and Sumo Logic
Proactively identify and execute code-level enhancements and process optimizations
Act as the subject matter expert for how Material Handling Systems (MHE) and core ERPs communicate with warehousing software
Collaborate with the development team during the design phase
Manage deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines
Perform software programming across multiple technologies
Create effective, tested, and documented code that aligns with long-term architectural goals
Monitor and maintain cloud-based applications using native platform tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
5+ years of professional software development experience, with a demonstrated progression of responsibilities
5+ years of software experience, with a significant portion dedicated to the support, development, and technical optimization of Blue Yonder/JDA WMS environments
Experience leading technical aspects of projects
Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks
